FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics program for middle and high school students. Student teams design, engineer and program a moderate sized Tetrix robot using an Android Controller to execute skills challenges adapted from real world robots of similar size.

2017 State Championship Tee Shirt Order Form

Shirts are available to any team or individual who would like to purchase shirts. Shirts will have the Aqua Adventure, Hydrodynamics, and First Relic Recovery logos on the front, the sponsors' names on the back, and will say Hawai'i FIRST® Robotics, State Championship.

District Tournament Sign-ups


Hawai'i FLL Teams are now able to register for FLL District Tournaments in Hawai'i. The district tournament fee is $70 per team if paying by paypal or check; $75 if paying by purchase order. Please follow these steps to register:

    Log In at the FIRST® website and select a Qualifying Event.

    Events and locations are: Please note, there is a limit to the number of teams that can participate at any one site. If the first choice site is not available at the time payment is received, the team will be placed at another site.

    Our process is designed to allow teams to receive confirmation of their tournament site as early in the season as possible, while still helping in-district teams to register for closer tournament sites to the extent feasible. Among those teams who have provided payment at that time, teams from the district where the tournament is being held will receive priority registration.

    Payments are processed once or twice a week, in the order received.

    Registration will be completed on confirmation of payment.

    There are 3 ways to pay for the district tournament
    1. Via Paypal ($70 per team), at this link:
    2. Via check ($70 per team), made out to "Hawaii FIRST Robotics"

    3. Via purchase order ($75 per team)
      The purchase order must contain the following information:
      1. Our new name: Hawaii FIRST Robotics
      2. Our new address:
        P.O. Box 1571
        Pearl City, Hawaii 96782
      3. Your school name and address and person of contact
      4. The team name and number (the number must be there to tie into your registration)
      5. The P.O. number and date
      6. The amount (the 2017 registration fee is $75.00 per team when paying with a purchase order)

      For the price quote, the email to coaches from Hawaii FIRST Robotics may be used; also, the registration fee is posted above.

      To expedite the process, a scan of the signed purchase order can be sent through email ( Sorry we do not have a fax.

      If the copy of the purchase order is emailed, the original purchase order is not necessary.

      Purchase orders must be received completed before an invoice can be created and sent out.

    Once placements have been made (in a few days), you will receive a confirmation email.

    Deadline for registration and receipt of payment is Thursday, October 12.

Registration is open now for the FIRST LEGO League Jr. 2017-2018 season. Global Challenge Release is August 1, 2017. The Hawaii FIRST LEGO League Jr. Expo will be on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
